"The Steve Lyons Fund was founded in 2007 to honor the memory of Steven William Lyons through music and a desire to give back to the community he loved. Although Steve was not a musician, he was a central figure in the Haverhill music scene thanks to his avid support of local performers.

Together we’ve raised over $13,000 in Steve’s name at our annual fundraisers. Beneficiaries include Haverhill Public Schools, The Sad Cafe, Massachusetts Special Olympics, Boy Scouts of America and Reid’s Ride for Cancer Research.

Music is at the heart of the Steve Lyons Fund. Music brought us together when Steve passed away and it continues to do so every summer at the Rock Out! Cookout, our all-day, family-friendly outdoor music festival at beautiful Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill.

In addition to our charitable work, the Steve Lyons Fund is dedicated to supporting youth and the arts in Greater Haverhill. Musicians young and old share the stage at the Rock Out! Cookout and visual artists of all ages display their creations inside the castle walls.

Our goal is to provide young people with opportunities to experience, explore and grow their creative talents, no matter their art form."
